Prof. Dr. Peter Van Elsuwege

Senior Research Fellow Prof. Dr. Peter Van Elsuwege is professor of European Union law at Ghent University (Belgium). He holds a PhD in Law (University of Ghent, 2007) and a Master in International Relations (2000) and European Law (2001). He joined the European Institute of Ghent University in October 2001 and worked as an Academic Assistant and as a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) at the European Law Department. On 1 February 2010 he was appointed Tenure Track Professor in EU law.

Dr. Armen Mazmanyan

Senior Research Fellow Dr. Armen Mazmanyan holds a PhD in Law from the European University Institute (2009), an LLM from the University of Illinois (2002) and a graduate law degree from the Yerevan State University (1998). His research focuses on constitutionalism and democratic development in comparative perspective, as well as integration processes in post-Soviet countries.

Dr. Marek Lenč

Visiting Research Fellow Dr. Marek Lenč works as an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, Department of IR and Diplomacy at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. During his doctoral studies on German foreign policy completed research stays at the universities and institutes in Jena and Berlin (Germany).

Ms. Zuzana Novakova

MA et MA

Visiting Research Fellow Zuzana Novakova is a PhD researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague, Erasmus University Rotterdam and works for the European Political Science Review journal, published by Cambridge University Press. Her research focuses on policy responses to political, economic and societal transitions in the “European neighbourhood”, their socio-economic implications, EU external relations and Eastern partnership.

 

Dr. Kateryna Ivashchenko-Stadnik

Research Fellow of the Department of Methodology and Methods of social research, Institute of Sociology, National Academy of Sciences which has been a long-term institutional partner for conducting European Social Survey in Ukraine. She is a CEU graduate (Society and Politics, Prague and Sociology, Warsaw). Previously she worked as Social Policy Advisor in UNDP (Ukraine) and cultural curator (Arthouse Traffic, SOTA Cinema Group).
