Ms. Zuzana Novakova

Visiting Research Fellow Zuzana Novakova is a PhD researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague, Erasmus University Rotterdam and works for the European Political Science Review journal, published by Cambridge University Press. Her research focuses on policy responses to political, economic and societal transitions in the “European neighbourhood”, their socio-economic implications, EU external relations and Eastern partnership.

She worked as FutureLab Europe Programme Executive at the European Policy Centre (EPC) in Brussels and collaborated with the Centre for the Research of Ethnicity and Culture in Bratislava. She holds Masters in international relations and in development studies with focus on issues of governance and democracy. Her current research project critically examines the EU democratization support in case-studies from the European neighbourhood.
