EU Policies: Security and Defence Dimension
This is advanced postgraduate course for the programme in public administration. The purpose of the course is to study the functioning of the European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe (CEE), to distinguish between EU and CoE competence, the prospects of Ukraine integration into the EU. The course of the course pays special attention to the EU policy in the field of defence and security, the participation of Ukraine in the formation of a security environment in the EU, legal and other aspects of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine and Ukraine's implementation of European standards and principles of public administration. The course also analyzes the material and procedural aspects of decision -making by EU institutions and the principles of functioning of common EU policies with relevance to the EU Common Security and Defence Policy.
