EU Common Security and Defense Policy – International/Regional Security: Can Ukraine be Part of It?

International workshop “EU Common Security and Defence Policy – International/Regional Security: Can Ukraine be Part of It?” took place on 25 May 2024 in hybrid format in close cooperation with the British Institute for International and Comparative Law and Ukrainian European Studies Association. Key speakers Prof. Steven Blockmans (Senior Fellow, International Centre for Defence and Security (Tallinn) Visiting Professor, College of Europe (Bruges & Natolin)), Prof. Roman Petrov (National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”), Dr. Carolyn Moser (Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Holder of the Alfred Grosser Chair | Sciences Po), Dr. Marianna Gladysh (Ivan Franko National University of Lviv) discussed contemporary challenges for participation of Ukraine in EU Common Security and Defence Policy. Students, experts and civil servants took active part in the event in hybrid format.
